Camions Semi-Remorque / Semi Trucks

A.	Éligibilité / Eligibility

Le camion doit être immatriculé et assuré avec preuves à l’appui.

Truck must have a valid matriculation and insurance certificates with proper papers to prove it.

 

B.	Barre de Tire / Drawbar

1-	La sellette doit être boulonnée sur le châssis, une plaque de renfort d’un maximum de 0.5″ est permise. Aucun renfort sur le châssis derrière la sellette, plus haut que le centre du pivot de la sellette, ne sera permis.
	The hitch must be bolted on the frame, reinforcing plate of 1/2″ maximum is allowed. No reinforcing plate on the frame behind the hitch, higher than the pivot point, will be allowed.

2-	Dimension du trou de la barre de tire : 3″ de large x 3.75″ de long.
	Drawbar dimensions : 3″ wide x 3.75″ long.

3-	Hauteur maximale de la barre de tire : 36″.
	Maximum drawbar height : 36″.

4-	Longueur maximale entre le centre de la « pin » et du centre du trou : 103″.
	Maximum length between center of the pin and center of the hole : 103″.

5-	Si la barre de tire est tubulaire, elle doit avoir un accès pour inspecter l’intérieur.
	If drawbar is tubular, it must have an access for inspection of the internal.

 

C.	Moteurs & Limitations / Engines & Limitations

1-	Le bloc-moteur OEM ne peut pas être modifié à l’extérieur, sauf pour réparation ou pour monter la pompe à injection.
	The OEM engine block cannot be modified externally, except for repair or mounting fuel injection pump.

2-	Les renforcis internes et passages d’eau (water jacket) doivent demeurer intacts avec provisions pour repercer le bloc-moteur.
	Internal webbing and water jacket must remain intact with provisions to rebore engine block.

Le bloc-moteur d’origine OU un bloc-moteur OEM qui fonctionne avec le vilebrequin d’origine pour ce modèle sans aucune altération pour le montage au châssis. Le bloc-moteur doit demeurer à la position originale, établie par le manufacturier, il doit être fixé et retenu solidement au châssis OEM. Le moteur ne peut pas bouger indépendamment du bâti de la transmission. Le boîtier original de la transmission OU le remplacement du manufacturier. Le châssis doit rester original depuis l’arrière du bloc-moteur jusqu’à l’arrière du camion.

The stock engine block OR OEM block that will operate with the stock crankshaft for that model without any alterations for chassis mounting. Engine block must remain in original location, located by manufacturer, it must be secured and held rigid to OEM chassis. Engine cannot move independently of transmission housing. The stock transmission housing OR manufacturer’s replacement. The frame must remain stock from the rear of engine block to the rear of the truck.

4-	Aucun moteur à combustion interne n’est permis à bord du camion pour actionner les pompes, accessoires, etc.
	No auxiliary internal combustion engine allowed onboard of the truck to drive pumps, accessories, etc.

5-	Le carburant permis est le Diesel.
	Allowed fuel is Diesel.

 

D.	Garde de l’Arbre d’Entraînement / Drive Line Shielding

1-	Un minimum 3 cerceaux de garde sur l’arbre d’entraînement principal, un arbre d’entraînement en 2 parties doit avoir 6 cerceaux.
	A minimum of 3 loops shielding on main driveshaft, a two piece driveshaft must have 6 loops.

2-	Cerceaux de 360° de 3/8″ en aluminium ou 5/16″ en acier, 3/4″ de large et pas plus de 2″ de l’arbre de toutes directions. Les cerceaux des extrémités ne doivent pas être à plus de 6″ du joint universel, avec le troisième cerceau au centre de l’arbre. Le garde peut être un tuyau solide, 3/8″ en aluminium ou 5/16″ en acier, rencontrant les exigences ci-dessus.
	360° loops must be 3/8″ aluminium or 5/16″ steel, 3/4″ width and not more than 2″ from the shaft in any direction. End loops to be placed no farther than 6″ from universal joints, with third loop in center of shaft. Shield can be a solid tube, 3/8″ aluminium of 5/16″ steel, to meet above requirements.

 

E.	Compétition / Competition

1-	Aucune pesée ajoutées au camion.
	No added weights to the truck.

2-	Une seule personne dans le camion lorsque le drapeau vert est donné et/ou sur la piste.
	One person only allowed inside the truck while under green flag and/or on the track.

3-	Toute utilisation, sur le site de compétition, des freins moteur ou klaxons entraînera une disqualification immédiate du camion et du conducteur.
	Any use, on the site of the competition, of the engine brake or horns will automatically be a disqualification of the truck and of the driver.

 

F.	Pneus / Tires

Les pneus de traction doivent être à roues jumelées de type DOT « highway ».

Traction tires must be dual wheels, DOT highway approved.
