{"id":92782,"date":"2026-01-29T18:33:42","date_gmt":"2026-01-29T23:33:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asttq.net\/?p=92782"},"modified":"2026-01-29T18:33:42","modified_gmt":"2026-01-29T23:33:42","slug":"info-january-8th-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asttq.net\/en\/accueil-en\/info-january-8th-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Info January 8th 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>January 8th 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>JANUARY 2026 INFO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS, <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2026 REGISTRATION FORMS, MEMBERSHIP CARDS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hello dear members,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>First of all, the board of directors wishes you a Happy New Year 2026!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Your board of directors for the 2026 season will be made of: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>St\u00e9phane Gosselin (president)<\/p>\n<p>Normand Letiecq (vice-president)<\/p>\n<p>Karine Barde (treasurer)<\/p>\n<p>Marie-Pier Boisvert (publicist)<\/p>\n<p>Claude Angers (director)<\/p>\n<p>Mario Banville (director)<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Smith (director).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>-We have attached to this email information concerning the 2026 membership cards, a provisional calendar as well as the applicable purse for 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>-During our first meetings of the board of directors, several points were reviewed here are the decisions that were taken:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>Annual Inspections :<\/u><\/strong> It is the puller\u2019s responsibility to ensure their annual inspection is completed at the beginning of the season, either in Ormstown, St-Agapit or Honfleur, and that by the St-Isidore pull at the latest, you must have your numbered sealed TAG (numbered cable seal) for 2026. A designated area will be available at the events for this inspection. If you do not have your TAG by St-Isidore, you cannot pull.\u00a0 Basic daily inspections (kill switch, etc..) will be performed before each pull.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>Modification on page 97 of the rulebook to add<\/u><\/strong> : if there is a tie for first place in the points fund, the vehicle that has won more pulls will finish first in the points funds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>Hotfarm : <\/u><\/strong>The class rules will be written separately from Profarm rules in the rulebook.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>Profarm : <\/u><\/strong>See attached the 2026 rules accepted by the Board of Directors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>Turbo Cross : <\/u><\/strong>See attached diagram, a new turbo cross which is recommended for 2026, but will be mandatory for 2027.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>6 : <\/u><\/strong>Note that according to the general regulations of the ASTTQ, aluminum drive shafts are not accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>Street Pickup : <\/u><\/strong>The 3.6 vehicles will not be able to register for the 6,500lbs, 7,500lbs and 8,500lbs street classes. There will be an open 9,500lbs class that the 3.6 vehicles will be able to register.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Other Notes :<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Talor C\u00f4t\u00e9\u2019s new Mini Satan\u2019s Mistress has been inspected by the technical inspector and is legal.
